SEO- just having a website is not enough

We all know that just having a website is not enough. People need to be able to find it. 10% of websites get 90% of the business. Why? Because they are on the first page.

There is always Pay-Per-Click; this concept made Google one of the most power companies in the world. You pay them to be on the first page. Every time a person clicks on your site you pay Google a fee, so much per click. It works very well however it can very expensive.

The other route is to work your way up the natural search results. This is most commonly done by adding links and content to your website. There are SEO companies that can be hired to do this work for you. Most of them charge a monthly fee starting at a few hundred dollars a month. These companies out source most of their article writing over sees and do link building much the same way. Your site will slowly begin to climb. The SEO Company prefers it takes a year rather than a month because of how they get paid. Since the SEO Company has all the content and links, if you quit paying them your site will take a nose dive.

Buy an SEO book and try to learn this stuff yourself. That is possible. SEO is not rocket science. If you can sign up for a FaceBook account you can do your own SEO. The entire purpose of this hubpage is to get it to ranked on the first page for the keyword phrase "First page ranking, how bad do you want it" if it makes it too the first for "first page ranking" even better.
